Betts' 3 HRs carries Porcello, Red Sox to another Fenway win

Hanley Ramirez has been surprisingly decent at first base this season for the Boston Red Sox, but he's still learning the intricacies of the position. On the shortlist of pitchers who could have potentially started the All-Star Game for the American League squad, the 31-year-old knuckleballer has been one of the season's more surprising success stories.

The Sox added two more runs in the bottom of the 6th when Brock Holt hit a 2 run homer.

Diamondbacks: RHP Archie Bradley (4-7, 4.80 ERA) has posted a 2.03 ERA over his last six road starts, while surrendering just one home run and limiting opponents to a.222 batting average over that span. The right-hander has a softer date with the Padres on tap for Thursday. The Red Sox took advantage of some sloppy defensive play by Arizona, which committed two first-inning errors.

Former Diamondbacks closer Ziegler came in with the bases loaded in the eighth and struck out all three batters on 10 pitches - all strikes.

Ulfa (I) insurgents have in the past attacked Hindi Speakers in upper Assam, particularly in Tinsukia and Dibrugarh district. The injured were taken to a local hospital in Doomdoom, and later shifted to Tinsukia civil hospital.

Spot starter Clay Buchholz, twice demoted to the bullpen this season and replacing an injured Steven Wright, worked the first 4 1/3 innings, allowing three runs in his first start since July 2. He is aiming to become Boston's first 20-game victor since Josh Beckett in 2007 and has plenty of starts left to get there. They had won four of five. Rickie Weeks gave the D-backs the lead 2-1 in the fourth with a RBI single. "That's a pitch a lot of times guys swing and miss or if they do hit it they hit it a little harder than that".

Boston capped its scoring in the sixth off of a fielder's choice from Bradley, while Travis Shaw later crossed home off of a throwing error from Arizona's Jake Lamb.

Pedroia fought off a pitch from Arizona reliever Adam Loewen and drove it into center for an RBI single, while Betts smacked a trailing fastball from Loewen into the Monster Seats for a three-run blast. The Diamondbacks will send the MRI exam results of RHP Rubby De La Rosa (elbow) to Dr. James Andrews for further evaluation.

Red Sox: OF Mookie Betts was out of the starting lineup after leaving Wednesday night's game early with tightness in his right calf. CF Jackie Bradley Jr. was out, both nursing a sore big toe after fouling a ball off his foot a couple of games ago and resting after playing 110 of the club's 114 games. Manager John Farrell said Wright threw again Saturday, but "he's not completely symptom free and the next step will be on Monday". After Jean Segura led off the game with a triple, Bradley charged in to snare a short line drive by Phil Gosselin.

Diamondbacks: RHP Zack Greinke (11-3, 3.67 ERA) looks to continue his solid run in the series finale on Sunday.

He has a 3.40 ERA overall, but a 2.90 over his last 10 starts (eight wins).

Meanwhile, Porcello defeated the New York Yankees the same night to go to 15-3, including 11-0 in 12 starts at Fenway.

Bills rookie LB Reggie Ragland likely out for season
This is a team that needed contributions from its young players, and now they aren't likely to get it from their top two picks. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that surgery will also give doctors a better idea about how badly Ragland was injured.
