Republicans Forbes and former Sen. Warner disagree over presidential candidates

Former U.S. Senator John Warner joined Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine on Wednesday to formally endorse Hillary Clinton for president.

Warner's endorsement comes as polls have tightened somewhat in Virginia, a state Clinton led by double-digits in the weeks immediately following the party conventions. He is a former Navy secretary and Senate Armed Service Committee chairman.

Several other former high-ranking Republicans have already endorsed Clinton over Trump including diplomat John Negroponte, who served under President Ronald Reagan and President George W. Bush, and Brent Scowcroft, national security advisor under Presidents Gerald Ford and George H.W. Bush. "The leaders will highlight how, if elected, Clinton and Kaine will provide service members with the respect, support and dedicated leadership they deserve and work with our allies around the world to keep American families safe".

English Premier League: Burnley 2-0 Watford
The Clarets splashed a club-record £10.5million to lure the Republic of Ireland global from Derby County in the summer. Defour tried to get on the scoresheet himself with a 20-yard strike that Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes beat away.

He shared the stage with Virginia's two US senators: vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine and Mark Warner.

Warner heaped heavy criticism on Donald Trump, his party's nominee for president, citing how "distressed" he felt hearing Trump's attacks on USA military might.

"No one should have the audacity to stand up and degrade the Purple Heart, degrade military families, or talk about the military being in that state of disaster".

Marlins will honor Jose Fernandez with No. 16 jerseys on Monday
Marlins third baseman Martin Prado said he doesn't know how his team can possibly be ready to play on Monday night. Fernandez was on a 32-foot vessel that had a "severe impact" with a jetty, said FWC's Lorenzo Veloz.

Clinton is pleased to have Warner's support, she told the Washington Post. "No one can compare to us".

He belittled Trump's lack of experience with defense or foreign affairs. "You have to build on a foundation".

"The event will highlight how Hillary Clinton is by far the strongest and most experienced candidate on a full range of national security issues, and that she has the knowledge, steadiness and temperament to be Commander in Chief", the campaign said in a release.
