Browns' Pryor blasts Titans' Andrews for bragging about hit

Browns safety Jordan Poyer was discharged from a Nashville area hospital Tuesday and is headed back to Cleveland.

He was injured on a vicious blindside hit by Titans running back Antonio Andrews while covering a punt in the second quarter.

Poyer wrote that he wasn't complaining about the hit but seemed surprised that Andrews posted about it.

However, the Browns did not take kindly to Andrews' post, stepping up to defend Poyer, who announced on Twitter he was released from a Nashville hospital Tuesday and had to drive to Cleveland because he was not allowed to fly with the condition.

Apparently Andrews must have heard from the Titans public relations department or someone within the organization, because the Instagram video looks like it has been deleted from his account.

Andrews responded on social media.

Andrews was mostly unremorseful, saying the video was "just a post".

"Obviously it's a game", Pryor said.

Jackson does not think the hit by Andrews was malicious and chalked it up to being part of the game. Hitting the guy, another man, when he's not looking? "Idc (I don't care) either way. i'm gonna get paid and get my 8 hrs of sleep". He has not been told if Poyer also has a concussion.

Browns coach Hue Jackson was disappointed by Andrews' need to promote the hit.

"I think there should be some sensitivity involved with that type of a thing", he said. "I don't want to get into it because right now it's about Cincinnati, but I love Poyer like a brother and that really angered me".
