Ex-boyfriend fears for Ronda Rousey's mental health before UFC return

A former UFC fighter himself, Schaub fully understands the rigors of fighting professionally, and he does not believe that the former UFC women's bantamweight champion is on her best mental state ahead of the highly anticipated fight with current titleholder Amanda Nunes. In her last two fights before taking the extended hiatus, Rousey felt like she was rushing through camps and trying to get the last fights out of the way before heading to Hollywood to make movies.

Nunes vs Rousey, this Friday, December 30th, kicking off with the UFC Fight Pass Prelims at 7:30PM ET / 4:30PM PT.

"You look at a real fighter like Conor McGregor".

Brooklyn Rapper Troy Ave Shot On Christmas Day
A day after Troy Ave was shot in the head and back, he was able to walk out of the hospital in Brooklyn last night (December 26). His auto ended up jumping the median and spinning around to face oncoming traffic before another vehicle hit his head-on.

"Style-wise this fight is a good one for Ronda to come back for".

Nunes won the title from Miesha Tate at UFC 200 in July. 11 of Rousey's 12 career wins came by way of stoppage in the first round.

Holm managed to out-duel Tate for the better part of four rounds to secure what would have been a unanimous decision and her first title defense. In a recent interview, she made the bold prediction that she'd win in the first round, which is Rousey's MO.

Kaylee Rodgers, 10-Year-Old With Autism, Sings Moving Rendition Of 'Hallelujah'
The video, which was filmed by Billy McAuley, was posted to Facebook on December 18 by a fellow student's parent. Ten-year-old Kaylee Rodger's version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah has wowed people all over the world.

Since that loss, Rousey has been busy with other projects away from the Octagon.

But that won't be an issue this time, according to the superstar. In her last fight against Holly Holm, when she lost in the second round of their championship bout at UFC 193, Rousey was a huge favorite. She's one of the most elite finishers in the sport. However, she can be beaten through sound, technical striking that frustrates her forward charge and leaves her grasping at straws. She may be able to overwhelm Amanda Nunes.

Despite Rousey's fame and star power, in a UFC promo video (h/t TMZ) the Olympic judo bronze medalist recently and emphatically stated her intentions concerning her title opportunity at UFC 207.

Duterte must be investigated for murder, urges United Nations chief
More than 5,300 people have died since he took office in late June, including 2,124 at the hands of police. Duterte's comments came while announcing a 2017 budget that focused heavily on populist measures.

For Nunes, the sensation will be one of triumph, and what is required of champions to maintain their thrones. While Tate is infamous for getting off to slow starts, Nunes wanted to put the pressure on early, and it paid off in a big way. And it sounds like the time off it's giving her on fight week is helping her focus on beating Rousey. Nunes hits like a truck and won't be an easy return to the cage for Rousey.
