After playing their first two preseason games on the road, New Orleans will be the home team for the first time in 2017 to host the Houston Texans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The Browns' last preseason Monday Night Football game was 2014 against the Redskins. In week three, Cleveland travels down to Raymond James Stadium to face Tampa Bay for the third consecutive season. The Browns defeated the Buccaneers, 31-7, during the 2015 preseason, but suffered a lopsided loss last August. The Chargers lead the all-time preseason series 4-2.

The Cleveland and New Orleans game will take place sometime between August 10 and August 14. Cleveland also will travel to Chicago during the 2017 regular season.

The team's training staff and coaches will monitor Durant, but there is no plan for a firm restriction on playing time . Coach Steve Kerr reiterated he will start Durant and take him out at signs he is tiring.

With so many draft picks and a potential quarterback battle brewing, the Browns are set to be one of the more interesting teams to watch as the regular season draws closer. The Saints have been winless in four preseason contests against Ravens, including a 23-14 New Orleans loss in the preseason finale on September 1, 2016.
