Belton police have been in contact with the families of Kara Kopetsky who disappeared in 2007 and Jessica Runions who hasn't been seen since her burned out vehicle was discovered past year.

In one police report, a witness claims to have seen Yust's truck near where the remains were found the same day Kara disappeared in 2007.

Investigators told Kara Kopetsky's family the second set of yet-to-be identified remains may be her.

He has not been charged in Kopetsky's disappearance. He was arrested in September 2016 at his family's home in Edwards, Mo., in Benton County, about two hours from Kansas City.

"We need a resolution to this", Beckford told reporters after their meeting with police. And they've gone to court when Yust is there. And after the brief hearing, Linda Runions, Jessica's grandmother, pleaded for anyone with information to come forward.
