The BJP today lined up its 32 NDA partners to endorse the "bold and decisive" leadership of Narendra Modi, the pro-poor policies of his government and his rising popularity across the country, seeking to counter Opposition attempts to unite against the saffron surge.

A resolution passed at the meeting said, "In the extraordinary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has succeeded in establishing its identity in the world as a fast growing economy".

The resolution heaped praise on the Modi government's performance and highlighted its pro-farmer and pro-poor works, besides its "foreign policy successes".

Riding high on what one could well call Modi wave 2.0, leaders of the NDA allies met at Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra in the national capital with a clear target in mind - winning big in 2019.

PM Modi had reached at the venue shortly after the guests arrived with BJP chief Amit Shah in tow. "We have to strengthen the NDA and this sustainability will come with a stable government, which can provide inclusive growth", he said.
