The Usos to Defend, "Superstar Shakeup" Ends, More

While PWInsider has reported these 5 moves, keep in mind that Monday had 10 big roster changes, leaving room for more moves to follow on tonight's Smackdown Live.

Naomi posted the following on her Instagram, and Sasha Banks responded to Naomi with the tease. The victor of that match will be a full-time member of SmackDown Live, and the new #1 Contender will be the victor of a triple threat match tonight between Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin, and AJ Styles.

We won't know how the two shows measure up until tonight's episode of SmackDown.

Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley resigns amid sex scandal
The stunning resignation came after Bentley pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor violations of campaign finance law. In his statement on Monday, Bentley apologized for his actions, but did not mention a relationship with Mason.

AJ Styles, Alexa Bliss and Luke Harper go to Raw and Charlotte, The New Day and Sami Zayn go to Smackdown.

Charlotte and Tamina Snuka join Smackdown Live women's division.

In return, SmackDown received a sleeper pick in Rusev, who is out injured according to (h/t Wrestling Inc). The Superstar Shakeup is the result of actual deals being determined between Daniel Bryan and Kurt Angle (the kayfabe general managers of Smackdown and RAW respectively) prior. Since I don't anticipate any of that happening, AJ should stay on Smackdown, it is the house that he built after all.

Solution: Send Dolph Ziggler there to be the top star for a few months, along with new singles wrestler Aiden English and failed experiment Apollo Crews. Mickie James is always a contender in WWE, though there is the concern that she could be lost in the shuffle over on RAW.

While "Monday Night Raw" took former world champions from "SmackDown Live", the blue brand acquired the biggest names from Monday's women's and tag team division. I loved this week's Smackdown less for what it was and more for what it looks like Smackdown is becoming. A loss to Owens (being a former Universal champion, himself) wouldn't drop his stock that much.

With Kofi benched, rumours are floating that The New Day will be switching teams. From Smackdown I just get this sinking feeling that John Cena is the one who is going to be moved to RAW. Why? Alexa Bliss on RAW will have the benefit of a new strong heel, that too one that's better on the mic than Charlotte.

After the match, Primo and Epico delivered an assault to American Alpha. It makes for an exciting, and complete roster, even though the argument is still there that RAW still has the biggest names. But based on where the two superstars are right now, it's hard to not give the slight nod toward The Miz, and RAW.

In the ring - Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn and AJ Styles: Sporting a new haircut and closely-trimmed beard, Owens proclaimed SmackDown the "new Kevin Owens Show" and played up that he's a Canadian holding the United States title.
