Tornado watch over, threat for storms remains

This line will move east across western into central sections of the state during the evening and into the overnight hours. It has a history of producing hail up to 1.75 inches between South Boston and Charlotte Court House. The chance of precipitation will extend all the way through Wednesday.

Flash flood watches have been issued for parts of southeastern Texas, southern Louisiana and southwestern MS, where 2 to 4 inches of rain are likely and isolated spots could receive up to 8 inches.
