Insider program members now have another way to install the Windows 10 Creators Update early.

The Windows 10 Creators Update is the first large update expected to come from Redmond this year.

There are two official options when it comes to that: Microsoft revealed in a new blog post yesterday on the official Windows Experience Blog that interested users may download the Creators Update starting on April 5th via the Update Assistant. Even the guide, which appears on the left side, undergoes a series of changes created to simplify the user's navigation. Accompanying the broadcasting features is a new preinstalled Beam viewing app, letting you watch others play from your console. The system also allows players to stream gameplay directly on the console. For example, the latest update gives streamers something besides Twitch to rely on in the form of Beam, a new streaming service that will also make its way to Windows 10 at a later date.

Perhaps the most interesting new addition is the new Achievement Tracker. The test version also let users modify some video games like the popular Minecraft title with the help of a software development kit.

On top of all that, if there is no custom background set, the updated Home will spotlight the game that is being played by featuring the hero art as the Xbox background. If the system doesn't prompt you automatically, you can go to All Settings, System, then Updates, and update the console manually. All Windows 10 users need to do is fire up the Update Assistant to get things started.

Microsoft are also introducing measures that allow a PC to be paired with a smartphone or tablet so the PC will be locked automatically if you step away from the PC. Please bookmark 1redDrop.comto keep tabs on the hottest, most happening tech and business news from around the world.

Microsoft has officially announced that its next update for Windows 10, the Windows 10 Creators Update will be made available to everyone around the world from April 11.

The new Home screen is faster than the old one and is designed with "prioritizing the most valuable content for your games", in mind. It should be noted that these features have been available for a while for testers of Xbox Insider Program. The centrality of Beam to this new Xbox experience seems like it could be more of a distraction for a large number of users, but otherwise these changes feel like a clear win.
