Senate intelligence committee subpoenas Michael Flynn

The timing of the dismissal of FBI Director James Comey coincides with the subpoenas issued to the associates of former national security Advisor Michael Flynn, as part of the ongoing probe of Russian meddling in 2016 election. Mark Warner of Virginia, the committee of Democratic vice chairman, said the panel had first requested the papers from Flynn on late on April 28.

It is the first subpoena the committee has announced in the course of its Russian Federation investigation - a step Chairman Richard Burr, R-N.C., was long reluctant to take.

The subpoena comes during a flurry of activity concerning the Russian Federation investigations. He was also paid $530,000 previous year by a businessman linked to the Turkish government, all while serving as an adviser to the Trump campaign.

O'Reilly blames 'far-left' for Fox firing
Charles Herring, CEO of San Diego-based One America Network, told the paper's MediaBlast blog: "Bill O'Reilly has been nothing short of a powerhouse in cable news".

Flynn is one of four former Trump aides that Senate investigators sent requests to. The committee has invited Comey to testify in a closed session Tuesday.

Flynn attorney Robert Kelner declined to comment on the newly issued subpoena or say why Flynn declined to provide the information earlier.

The leaders of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence announced Wednesday they had subpoenaed Flynn, who served as a top adviser to Trump during the campaign.

Even people who do maintain coverage under the AHCA may find their plans aren't as comprehensive as they thought. I will do all I can to prevent Senate action on this disastrous plan, or on anything that comes close to it.

The FBI interviewed Flynn about the December calls with Kislyak and determined that he wasn't intentionally trying to be deceptive about the nature of what was discussed, according to U.S. officials briefed on the investigation. It was not "immediately clear" whether those other individuals have complied with the subpoenas, though Page has responded by suggesting they subpoena Barack Obama's former administration instead, CNN reported.

Flynn has been a focus of investigations into Russian Federation and the election.

Flynn, who was sacked from his White House position after lying about December phone calls he had with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, is under investigation in Congress, the FBI and the Pentagon over his dealings with Russians dating back to late 2005.

Justice Karnan sends cops on wild goose chase
The cops on Wednesday spoke to Manik Raj, another lawyer of Justice Karnan, who was staying at the same guest house. He has also said in his application that the SC should recall its order which sentenced him to six months in jail.

Flynn's company, Flynn Intel Group, told the Justice Department in March that the two $40,000 payments were consulting fees for unspecified work.
