Nuclear power station's intern bikini contest sparks outrage

Proving just how far the world still has to go, a nuclear power plant in the Czech Republic initiated an intern hiring process that included a bikini contest.

Czech power conglomerate CEZ couldn't quite narrow down the pool of candidates, so they asked 10 female applicants to don swimwear and pose inside a cooling tower - don't worry, they were sure to make the women, all recent high-school graduates, wear hardhats and closed-toe shoes. (The post has since been removed.) The company wrote that whichever woman got the most "likes" would win the title of "Miss Energy 2017" and a two-week-long internship at the power plant.

It then asked its followers to rate them on their attractiveness, saying that the victor would not only get the internship, but the title "Bouncer of Energy".

Pandora CEO Tim Westergren Departs
Pandora said it filled another board seat with Jason Hirschhorn , CEO of ReDEF Group , a "digital content curation company". The company's financial chief, Naveen Chopra , will become interim CEO as the company seeks a permanent successor.

"We think photographs are very tasteful", the company wrote in a comment on the post.

"Knowledge obviously does not matter", noted another user. "Undress and you get an internship - this cannot be serious, it's degrading, disgusting and primitive", one Facebook user commented on the post, according to Deutsche Welle.

The company claimed the competition followed its previous cultural endeavours - such as hosting the Bohemian Philharmonic Orchestra.

Kellyanne Conway says people who lose Medicaid should just find better jobs
In fact, this is slowing the growth of Medicaid and allowing governors more flexibility in their states to be able to give the dollars out as they - because they're closest to the people in need.

"The competition is absolutely outside the bounds of ethics", human rights lawyer Petra Havlíková said.

"The goal of the competition was to promote technical education", the post read.

'But if the original vision raised doubts or concerns, we are very sorry'. The company also said on Facebook that all of the women who were featured in the competition would be awarded with internships.
