The cover, dated March 1, 1999, is headlined: "The "Apprentice" is a television smash!"

The only slight problem with this is that the real cover featured award-winning actress Kate Winslet and makes no mention of Trump whatsoever.

Time has since asked the Trump Organization to remove the framed magazine covers from his properties, reports the Post.

The fake bar code on the bottom right of the cover is identical to the bar code shown in an online graphic design tutorial which shows how to create a fake Time cover. The fake cover was at Trump International Golf Club in Doonbeg, Ireland, though it was taken down when a reporter went to look for it over the weekend. It also reportedly hangs at his exclusive Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach. The clubs in the Bronx and Los Angeles are fake-cover-free. In fact, there was no 1 March 2009 issue of Time, and Mr Trump did not feature on the magazine's cover that year.
