Worse: it has become a well-known rating trump

The ABC-Post poll finds about 60 percent of Americans said they believe Russian Federation tried to meddle in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, while about 44 percent think Trump benefited from those attempts. Forty-eight percent say America is weaker than it had been before Trump took office, with only 27 percent saying it's stronger. The percentage of Americans who say they agree with Trump on the most important issues almost matches his approval rating.

And just 27 percent say US leadership on the world's stage has gotten stronger while 48 percent say it has grown weaker under Trump.

The poll, produced by Langer Research Associates from July 10-13, showed respondents were concerned by the ongoing investigation into Russia's alleged interference in the USA election, the recent news Trump's son Donald Jr. had met with a Kremlin-linked Russian lawyer prior to the election, and the president's plan to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Trump, who is known to keep a close eye on polls, responded with predictable scorn, tweeting that the ABC-Washington Post polls were "just about the most inaccurate poll around election time".

On the plus side, opinions about Trump's economic proposals were evenly divided, with 43 percent of respondents approving and 41 percent disapproving.

According to the commentator, the propaganda campaign against the Trump administration will not bear fruit, because the American people "distrust the media".

But they don't like the way President Donald Trump is going about changing the health-care system.

Over half of those polled say they don't think Trump is making significant progress toward his goals, while just 38 percent say they think he is making progress. The next lowest measurement in the trend was 49% for Bush in October 2005, a time when his job approval ratings were falling in the wake of the government's poor response to the Hurricane Katrina disaster and Bush's withdrawing his nomination of Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court.

Six months after serving as the president, Obama had 59 percent approval rating and Clinton had 45 percent approval rating, the poll said.

The poll also reveals Americans are not really believing that they'd be better off by the Republican plan to replace Obamacare.

The only good news for Trump is that the public doesn't think much of the Democratic Party either.

The poll was conducted from July 10 to July 13 and was comprised of 1,001 adults. "Among disapprovers who named issues as their biggest criticism, the most common were immigration (8 percent) and health care (7 percent), the travel ban at 3 percent and others at 2 percent or less".
