Eman took her last breath at around 4:35 am on Monday due to complications from the underlying co-morbid conditions.

Eman weighed a whopping 498 kg on her arrival in Mumbai's Saifee hospital for treatment in February this year.

Eman during her 37th birthday celebration earlier in September. The plan was to then send her home to Egypt and schedule a second surgery for next year.

She reportedly lost 324 kg during her weight-loss treatment.

After her surgery, doctors had shared videos of her recovery, claiming that she was healing three times faster than they had planned.
