Long-pressing the Battery icon displays "Advanced battery usage", which shows a graph of estimated battery life, including the number of hours since it was fully charged and hours before the battery will be fully depleted.

In order to help users get to know how well their Pixel smartphone's battery will perform all through the day, Google appears to have added a smart battery feature to these smartphones. It was on the Google Play Store but is not now available. There, you will find a personalized battery estimate, which not only informs the percentage of battery left, but also the time (in hours) that the phone will last. For instance, if the phone user consumes 10% percent battery life per hour for a past few hours, the device would just assume, the owner will consume that much power every hour and adjust battery life expectancy accordingly.

If you want to take a look at the new battery predictions, head to Battery in Settings and there you would see the remaining running hours for your device.

With the new update, Pixel phones will analyze battery usage from similar days and times and use that information to predict battery life.
