Japan rolls out sleek, all-female police squad to protect Ivanka

Ivanka Trump, the US president's daughter and senior advisor, arrived in Japan on Thursday for a three-day stay ahead of a visit by her father.

As part of a three-day lead up to President Donald Trump's arrival there, Ivanka Trump was a key speaker at the World Assembly for Women to champion Abe's "womenomics" plan.

But while the female-only police force looks like good PR, especially since Ivanka is in Japan to talk about the empowerment of women, the squad would have minimal effect on risky criminals, or if one of the Trumps were in danger.

She continued that "no activity was ever done in an official capacity on behalf of the campaign in that regard". A Trump campaign supervisor encouraged Papadopoulos to make the trip "if it is feasible" on August 15, 2016.

On her first visit to Japan, the first daughter's 18-minute speech outlined a strategy for empowering women in the workplace. She said there has been "significant improvement" in Japan in recent decades, adding, "it will continue to grow in great measure due to Prime Minister Abe's vision for Japan".

The Washington Post, also noting the poor turnout, quoted a White House official saying the event was "the most registered event" at the conference but that security checks had slowed the crowd. Abe has pledged $50 million to the cause, and said he hopes to create "a society where women can shine".

Ivanka Trump also denounced sexual harassment in the workplace.

United parted with £40 million to sign the Chelsea midfielder, but Tottenham's Eric Dier had also been linked with a switch to OldTrafford.

Sometimes glancing at Abe sitting behind her on the stage, Trump praised the prime minister's efforts to promote women's participation in the workforce.

"All too often, our workplace culture fails to treat women with appropriate respect", she said. They are dressed in smart black suits, instead of the body armor usually needed to guard against rioters.

The Japanese police department in Tokyo has put together an all-female squad of officers for specific assignment to first lady Melania Trump and other visiting female dignitaries, including presidential adviser Ivanka Trump, according to a report.
