FA complains to UEFA and Federation Internationale de Football Association over Brewster abuse

Brewster claimed earlier this month that he was racially abused by Spartak Moscow defender Leonid Mironov during a UEFA Under 19 European League game.

Still aged just 17, he has given an open and courageous interview to The Guardian about the racist abuse he was suffered, or seen others suffer.

The 17-year-old chronicled seven episodes in which he or a team-mate were abused racially by their opponents. "I was on the floor and had the ball in my hands".

He stressed that Liverpool had backed him in speaking out, and said of the incident against Spartak that "their player leaned over me, right down to my face and said: 'Suck my d--, you n--, you negro'".

According to Brewster, Wolves teenager Morgan Gibbs-White was abused by a Spanish player during the final in October. Brewster said in his Guardian interview.

"We have raised with both UEFA and Federation Internationale de Football Association a need for discrimination to be covered as part of the pre-tournament player workshops, and also expressed our concern at difficulties encountered in trying to report incidents".

Plummer said she had brought the drug to her Egyptian husband, Omar Abdel-Azim, who suffers from back pain. Laura Plummer was arrested in October after being found with 290 tramadol pills in her suitcase.

"I don't think UEFA take this thing seriously". "As Morgan was running away, he (a Spain player) has called him a monkey". "It was a goal-kick and I was getting into position. That is how it feels anyway, like it has been brushed under the carpet", he said. 'All the support he needs, he wants, ' he said.

Brewster said he had initially had the feeling that he did not want to make a complaint because he feared that "nothing's going to happen".

The Times reports that the tone of the meeting eventually escalated, as then-Secretary of Homeland Security John F. The Times cited six officials who were either there or who were briefed on the meeting in its report.

The number of reports received to the organisation from the match is of great concern and Kick It Out expects the relevant authorities to investigate this serious incident as a matter of urgency, so it is concluded in a manner that shows zero tolerance towards racism or any other form of unacceptable discriminatory conduct.
UEFA's disciplinary regulations stipulate that any player found guilty of racist abuse should be banned for a minimum of 10 matches.
