The video captured by the co-passenger shows Curbelo yelling at the attendant saying that she has a destination for herself and that she needs to go there.

It was an eventful weekend for some airline passengers, who had to deal with outbursts over champagne-and threats against their lives.

A 24-year-old woman was seen in a video threatening to kill fellow passengers on a flight to Sacramento.


During the flight headed from Portland, Oregon, to Sacramento, California, the woman disabled a smoke detector so that she could enjoy a few lung-damaging puffs in the bathroom. "I swear, if you don't f--ing land, I will f--ing, kill everybody on this f--ing plane". Her reaction after being forced by the flight attendant to return to her seat left the co-passengers and crew shocked.

Heathrow administration suggested that passengers check the status of their flights prior to traveling to the airport. In a statement today, British Airways said: " Heathrow is continuing to experience severe adverse weather conditions.

'Our reports from flight attendants indicate a customer violated federal laws by both smoking on board an aircraft and by tampering with a smoke detector in an aircraft restroom.

Valerie Curbelo, 24, was arrested for the incident.

A nonstop flight from Portland to Sacramento takes roughly 1 hour 30 minutes, according to the airline's website. Curbello later went on to tell a CBS affiliate reporter that she had turned to smoking to try to quell her anxiety.

The woman was later restrained for the rest of the flight and escorted to law enforcement officers when the plane landed, a report from another TV report said.

The station also announced that Curbelo is now booked in the Sacramento county jail for making criminal threats.
