JMU Football on Practice Field for FCS Championship Game

North Dakota State University is back on top of the FCS mountain with a 17-13 win in the championship game from Toyota Stadium.

Stick, the game's Most Outstanding Player, stuck to his word, and the following celebration was a familiar sight for fans in Frisco: North Dakota State has won six of the last seven FCS national championships, making North Texas somewhat of a second home.

By the time they hit on the field on Saturday, it will have been three weeks since the James Madison football team last played a game. They own the No. 2 scoring defense in the FCS, and are No. 1 in yards allowed per game. "That's what it boiled down to", said James Madison head coach Mike Houston, who lost to an FCS opponent for the first time in his two seasons at James Madison.

Barkley Set For Medicals After Chelsea Agree £15m Deal With Everton
Barkley fell out of favour under former Everton boss Ronald Koeman following his refusal to sign a new contract last season. It will mean the player is leaving Goodison Park after 13 years, having joined Everton as an 11-year-old in 2005.

Meanwhile, the Bison have run wild with a deep running back corps that's withstood injuries, led by 1,186-yard rusher Bruce Anderson. "They're both experienced and poised, they play within themselves and don't make mistakes, and they can beat you with their arms or legs". They trailed 17-6 at halftime.

"I feel like a lot of guys up here can attest to the adversity that we have faced", JMU redshirt senior defensive lineman Andrew Ankrah said. They had (only) 53 yards rushing in the first half. D'Angelo Amos returned Koonce's punt for 37 yards - the second-longest return of his career - to put the Dukes at the NDSU 14-yard line.

JMU closed the half going 68 yards in four plays that ended in a 21-yard field goal by Ethan Ratke. It was capped off by a 1-yard run from Marcus Marshall.

Haley singled out Iran in a New Year's message that also denounced "oppressive governments" in North Korea , Venezuela and Cuba. During a news conference at the United Nations on Tuesday, Ambassador Haley applauded the Iranian uprising.

So when Stick completed his kneel after a 27-yard loss and he knew the clock had drained, he threw the ball high in the air as hundreds of Bison fans stormed the field after a 17-13 victory. Sophomore cornerback Marquise Bridges intercepted Schor's pass at the NDSU 3-yard line.

James Madison is undefeated at 14-0.

"Obviously there are people out there that don't respect us that much", Houston said. He also rushed for 19 yards on 14 attempts. "I promise you, everybody in that locker room thought we were going to". The Bison defense knocked down pass to get the ball back on downs with 58 seconds to play. "We're excited to get on the road and join the fun down there", said Schmitz. This year the tables are flipped, as James Madison is No. 1 and NDSU is No. 4. To add insult to injury, a fight broke out after the play and JMU was taxed with a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. After taking over at their own 44-yard line, Stick handed the ball off to Anderson for 13 yards on two plays and Dunn for two yards on two plays before whistling a dart to junior wide receiver Darrius Shepherd, who converted a wide-open pass downfield into a 50-yard touchdown to extend NDSU's lead to 14-3.

Trump says United States has gotten 'nothing' from Pakistan aid
The president has also expressed concern about relationship between Pakistan and India, nuclear-capable rivals. Lawmakers and former government officials have praised Trump for his approach to the protests in Iran.

"That was a great football game between two great teams, and more importantly, two great programs", Klieman said.
