Gunman shot dead by police after targeting YouTube stars

Austin Police officers confronted Giles as he drove away, hearing a gunshot from the vehicle and returning fire.

Meanwhile, fellow YouTubers and fans expressed their love and support for the Internet personalities following the scary incident online. Part of the investigation includes assistance from homicide detectives, working with the Albuquerque P.D.

Austin police reported that officers responding to a 911 call coming from the house saw Giles leaving the home and told him to stop. No available records say what they found on those electronics, and Albuquerque and Austin police declined to comment on the case.

When Austin Police Officers arrived at the address, they saw a dark colored Lincoln sedan back out of the driveway before a shot was sacked from inside.

Merkel achieves breakthrough in German coalition deal

By 3:40 a.m. on January 26, Giles had arrived at the couple's Hyde Park house, just over a mile north of the University of Texas campus, and had woken them up with the sound of a gunshot and breaking glass, according to KXAN.

Police found notes on Giles' phone recording threatening thoughts, particularly towards Free.

The couple were not injured in the incident.

They found the vehicle with New Mexico plates backing out of the driveway. One officer returned fire. A preliminary postmortem found that Giles may have, in fact, shot himself. It seems like he envied Free's aspirational lifestyle and his romantic relationship with Turney.

BC premier says he won't retaliate in ongoing trade fight with Alberta
The wine ban is the second trade retaliation that Notley has announced. "We could see up to $100,000 lost in direct sales". That's a message Notley herself is selling to Albertans. "I would like to thank her for standing up for Alberta".

Giles' family members could not be reached by the Journal last week.

"Based on the footage seen it was apparent that Giles' sole intent was to cause harm to someone who resides there", the detective wrote in the complaint.

Turney and Free both gained fame making videos for YouTube - many of them video game-related - and both have worked at the Austin-based media company Rooster Teeth Productions. Rooster Teeth would have been a go-to as a result since Turney still appears in their output while Free does not.

A "disturbed fan" armed with a gun entered the home of a celebrity YouTube couple before firing at least one shot, police said. The assumption is that he meant to kill Free. Police say those videos led an Albuquerque man to resent Free and drive to their Austin home last month, apparently to hurt them.

And Philadelphians, even after getting the Lombardi trophy they've craved for decades , are still peeved about it. Clement never allowed the ball to touch the ground and had his left foot already down when he caught the ball.
