PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle have been caught up in a frightening anthrax scare after an envelope containing white powder was sent to Kensington Palace.

According to the Evening Standard, the couple was notified of the incident, yet the spokesman for Kensington Palace refused to issue a public comment as police the investigation is still on-going.

Scotland Yard have confirmed they launched an investigation after the package was delivered to one of the royal households on Monday, February 12. They added than an an allegation of malicious communications is being investigated.

The prince and Markle are due to marry May 19 at Windsor Castle.
