The Status Yellow snow-ice Warning applies to all of Ireland.

"And later tonight and on Sunday, wintry showers will give accumulations of up to 3 cm of snow, with larger amounts on higher ground, especially in Ulster and Connacht".

The warning is valid from until 11.59pm Sunday 11 February.

Heavy rain is expected to hit the province on Saturday, and a yellow weather warning will be in place from 3pm until just before midnight.
