Police to update Bruce McArthur case ahead of excavation at Leaside home

Canadian police said yesterday they have so far uncovered the remains of six people at a home in Toronto linked to an alleged serial killer.

Investigators have not yet released complete details, but McArthur is believed to have met his victims cruising around the city in the van he used for work and on gay dating apps for older and large men.

McArthur is now facing five counts of first-degree murder.

BC premier says he won't retaliate in ongoing trade fight with Alberta
The wine ban is the second trade retaliation that Notley has announced. "We could see up to $100,000 lost in direct sales". That's a message Notley herself is selling to Albertans. "I would like to thank her for standing up for Alberta".

McArthur, a father and grandfather, was arrested on January 18 over the deaths of two men, Andrew Kinsman and Selim Esen, who had last been seen in an LGBT friendly part of Toronto.

On January 29, police laid three additional first-degree murder charges in the deaths of Majeed Kayhan, Soroush Mahmudi and Dean Lisowick. Police said Lisowick, who was in his mid-40s, was homeless, stayed in public shelters and had not been reported missing.

At that time, police had said skeletal remains belonging to three unidentified individuals had been discovered in planters in the backyard of the Mallory Crescent home.

Alibaba invests a whopping Rs. 1300 Crore into Zomato
This is the single largest fundraise for Zomato, which, prior to the Alibaba round, had raised $243 million in all. The turnover during FY 2016-2017 was net sales of Rs 3322.72 million, on a consolidated basis.

The frozen ground has hampered the investigation, as it is hard to dig up lawns, Idsinga noted. "We're going through computers. We're going through online applications and different apps". Idsinga said investigators were also sifting through the contents of at least 15 planters recovered from multiple properties, at least some of which had contained human remains. McArthur is due back in court on February 14, when he is expected to enter a plea. Kinsman, 49, went missing last June and Esen, 44, was reported missing last April.

Police say they will now re-examine hundreds of missing persons cases that could be linked to McArthur.

Using ground penetrating radar and canine units, police identified an area of the yard where the earth had been disturbed and set to thawing the frozen ground using a tent and large heaters. "We are dealing with some agencies overseas", said Idsinga.
