Proof of 'staged' Syria chemical attack is from film

"Experts from the chemical weapons committee enter the town of Douma", Syria's official SANA news agency said on Tuesday, three days after the armed forces of the US, Britain and France launched over a 100 cruise missiles against three sites, one in Damascus, and two in the city of Homs, which US President Donald Trump claimed were "associated with the chemical weapon capabilities" of the Syrian government.

Meanwhile, Russia, Assad's ally, has called the attack a hoax and, along with Syria, had thus far blocked the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) inspectors from entering Douma.

Meanwhile the United States has accused Russian Federation of blocking inspectors access to the site and raised fears evidence may have been removed.

On April 7, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime allegedly dropped chemical weapons on the town of Douma, where rebels were suspected to be hiding out.

Russian Federation told the United Nations Security Council on Tuesday there was no point establishing a new inquiry to determine blame for chemical weapons attacks in Syria because the United States and its allies had already acted as judge and executioner.

Assad is now in his strongest position since the early months of a seven-year-old civil war that has killed more than 500,000 people and driven more than half of Syrians from their homes.

California, Trump administration reach deal on National Guard
Brown's office said Wednesday that the previous contract was unnecessary after he secured federal funding for his goals. Brown says the guard will not enforce immigration laws or participate in the construction of any new border barrier.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov rejected the allegation, telling the BBC: "I can guarantee that Russia has not tampered with the site".

Russian Federation and Syria deny using poison gas, hindering the investigation or tampering with evidence.

Britain's delegation to the OPCW accused Russian Federation and the Assad government of stopping inspectors from reaching Douma. The source could not provide additional details.

"On this night, there was wind and huge dust clouds began to come into the basements and cellars where people lived", said Assim Rahaibani.

But the assessment also indicated that a large quantity of the chemical weapons was stored elsewhere and that Syria's chemical weapons programme, while crude, "is about as good as it needs to be for Assad's purposes", another official said.

On Friday, the U.S., France and the United Kingdom launched a series of airstrikes meant to cripple Syria's ability to manufacture chemical weapons, which Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has been using against his own people.

OPCW inspectors have made it to Douma.

"Vladimir Putin, in particular, stressed that if such actions committed in violation of the U.N. Charter continue, then it will inevitably lead to chaos in global relations", the statement read.

However, U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric said the United Nations has "provided the necessary clearances for the OPCW team to go about its work in Douma". It was one of those attacks this month that led to the joint action by the U.S., France and the United Kingdom last weekend.

Western countries say scores of civilians sheltering from bombs were gassed to death in Douma on April 7.

Meanwhile, Mr Trump dismissed claims by Syria and Russian Federation that some USA missiles were shot down.

The alleged attack and subsequent military response underscored the challenge that the seven-year conflict in Syria poses for the West. President Donald Trump wants to remove USA troops from Syria, where it has been fighting the Islamic State militants.
