All the audition shows for this year's series, which include acts from Manchester, London and Belfast, will feature Ant however.

Dec later announced that the final two episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway would go ahead in his absence, telling their 6.85 million Twitter followers: "Whilst I never thought I'd be in this position, after much discussion and careful consideration we've decided that the remaining two shows of this series of Saturday night Takeaway will go ahead".

Dec said: "That it is from Florida and from the entire series".
