Saudi Arabia's crown prince was set for talks with French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday at the end of a three-day trip that has seen the two men discuss war and crisis in the Middle East as well as sources of friction between themselves.

Macron said the two countries had tactical differences on how to deal with the Iran nuclear deal, but they agreed on the need to curb Tehran's regional expansionism, and France refused to accept its ballistic attacks on Saudi Arabia.

The association claims that the prince is complicit in the instances of torture in Yemen, where Saudi Arabia is leading a military campaign in support of one of the sides in the civil war.

The 32-year-old prince has showcased the world the modern face of Saudi Arabia with their current reforms like lifting ban from women driving, mixed gender concerts, opening of cinemas.

Russian Federation warns USA against Syria strike
Both Russia and Syria are now inviting inspectors from the global chemical weapons watchdog into the country to investigate. Russia's claim came hours after the Pentagon denied Syrian media reports that the USA conducted the airstrikes in Syria.

"The team is preparing to deploy to Syria shortly", it added, saying the OPCW's director general Ahmet Uzumcu wants the team "to establish facts surrounding these allegations."The White House on Tuesday abruptly announced the cancellation of US President Donald Trump's first trip to Latin America, scheduled for later this week, saying he wants to "oversee the American response to Syria".

The crown prince, however, has emphasised closer ties with Washington just as Macron has sought to improve relations with Iran. The young prince is seeking to rebrand Saudi Arabia from a fundamentalist kingdom to a modernist oasis.

Last week, 10 global rights groups implored Macron to pressure Prince Mohammed over the Saudi-led bombing campaign in Yemen, claiming it is exacerbating a humanitarian crisis for thousands of civilians.
